Reprographics - Artwork Submission and Proofing

We accept artwork in a variety of ways including FTP, email or disc. You will find useful downloads on this page including guides on how to prepare your artwork to get the best results from the flexographic process. Indeed our Guide To Preparing Artwork For The Flexographic Printing Process is recommended by industry blog Astute Graphics

FTP service

Our preferred method is FTP (File Transfer Protocol). This is a standard method for transferring large files between computers via a network. If you do not have a preferred FTP solution we can recommend the following FTP Clients;

Both are free to use and downloads with full instructions are available via the web links above. PC users can also use Internet Explorer but a dedicated FTP Client will provide more functionality.

Once you have an FTP Client installed, please contact us at repro@systemslabelling.com for the server address, username and password to connect to our FTP Server.

Email

You can submit your artwork via email however we do have a file size limit and you may have your own email restrictions when sending and receiving large files. Therefore this method is more suited to smaller file sizes.

Disc

Discs can be supplied in a suitable format (view guideline downloads opposite) and post to; Repro Department, Systems Labelling, Tenth Avenue, Deeside Industrial Park, Deeside, CH5 2UA

Proofing Process

We generally supply a PDF document via email of the print ready artwork for your comment/approval. However this method does have obvious limitations in terms of colour representation. Therefore we recommend a full colour cromalin produced on our DuPont Cromalin blue3 digital proofing system which provides an accurate representation of the CMYK elements of the finished label prior to print. This service can be requested at the point of order.
